Terms of Service

Last updated: November 8, 2026

1. Who provides the service?

The Olyra service is provided by Olyra Mind, represented by Marie-Pier Fillion. By using Olyra, you enter into a contract with Olyra Mind.

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and acknowledged our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. This acceptance does not replace separate consent to AI processing of sensitive information where required by law.

3. Description of the service

Olyra is a digital personal journal that lets you write, organize your entries, track your mood and receive insights generated by artificial intelligence. The service is provided as is; we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

4. Minimum age, account and security

Olyra is for people aged 18 and over only. By creating an account, you declare that you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms under the laws applicable to you. The service is not intended for anyone under 18, even with parental permission. The signup confirmation is a self-declaration, not identity verification. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Intellectual property

Olyra Mind retains all intellectual property rights over the service, its code, its brand and its documentation. The content you write in your journal belongs to you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Olyra for illegal or fraudulent purposes;
  • harass, spam or harm others;
  • infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties;
  • attempt to bypass security, inject malicious code or scrape the service;
  • resell, redistribute or attempt to decompile the service.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Olyra offers free and paid plans. Payments are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles customer service requests and returns.

Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Current prices are those displayed at the time of subscription.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price presented at checkout unless cancelled. You can stop future renewals through the subscription-management link Paddle provides in its purchase emails, or contact Paddle for help. Cancelling renewal does not delete your account or automatically refund the current period; see our Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights prevail over conflicting terms; Paddle's role does not remove Olyra Mind's legal obligations.

8. Termination and suspension

Olyra Mind may suspend or terminate your access for a serious breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated violations of our rules, subject to applicable law. Unless there is an emergency, legal prohibition or security risk, we will inform you of the reason and, where possible, an opportunity to remedy the breach. This action does not remove your statutory rights, including rights concerning refunds and access to your personal information.

9. Liability

The service limitations described in these terms do not exclude or reduce any liability or warranty that cannot legally be excluded or reduced. In particular, no clause seeks to exclude liability for intentional or gross fault, or mandatory consumer protections. Rights and remedies under applicable law remain available.

AI-generated insights are informational and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They do not replace medical, psychological, legal or professional advice. Olyra is not an emergency service and does not guarantee real-time human monitoring or automatic alerts to emergency services. In Canada, call or text 9-8-8 for a suicide crisis; in immediate danger, call 9-1-1. Elsewhere, use local emergency resources.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec and Canada. Subject to applicable mandatory rules, disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the competent Quebec courts. This choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections or the right to bring proceedings before competent courts where you live when provided by law.

11. Changes

We may propose changes to how the service operates and to these terms, subject to legal restrictions. For an ongoing paid subscription, any change must comply with the purchase contract and applicable law. Where unilateral modification is permitted and written notice is legally required, it will identify the amended clauses, their previous and new versions, the effective date and your rights to refuse and terminate. We will respect the applicable statutory notice period and obtain express acceptance where required. Simply publishing a change in the app or continued use does not replace legally required formalities.
